Ever fall we rake our leaves up out of our yard and then every year without fail as soon as the wind blows even a little bit, our yard is filled back up with leaves from our neighbors yards. Someone needs to invent a device that picks up all the leaves so when the wind blows the yards do not get filled right back up with downed leaves. I remember as a child playing in the piles of leaves as they were raked up, but back then in the dark ages we burned our leaves. Think of the out cry if everyone burned their leaves in the fall.
This weekend the Tennessee Titans go after win number 10 in a row. The team standing in our way this week is the Jacksonville Jaguars, who have been kind of a Jekyll and Hyde team this year, you never know which of the Jaguar teams will show up each week. The good Jaguars will give the Titans all they want this week, the bad Jaguars will be the next victim in the winning streak for the Titans. I hope the bad team shows up just because I am a fan of the Titans and do not like Jack Del Rio at all, I think he is a jerk and has a huge ego and it bleeds over to his team. Go Titans!
The weather has taken a nasty turn today it was cold and cloudy after raining all night and tonight for the first time in the weather forecast I heard a terrible word. SNOW. I am not sure if it will make it here but the only thing between us and the snow is Missouri. I love the snow as long as I do not have to get out in it, and since I work nights I get out in all of the bad weather it seems. I missed the rain last night i was off but I will pay for that tonight with it being damp and cold. Now when my feet get cold the rest of me is cold too. Once I get cold I am worthless until I get warm again. Let us hope they are wrong and it gets tropical here very soon.
With the market in the tank it is the correct time to purchase a home and get started putting equity it that home for your future. We have decided to purchase a home to rent out in my sisters home town of Skokie Illinois. Illinois Mortgage rates are the same as they are here in Nashville and my sister lives right there and will be able to handle any problems that come up. Realtors in the Illinois Mortgage arena have been very helpful in getting us started looking for a good starter home in that area. I know now is the best time to get into the property management arena and we are committed to this venture.
In the sports world there have been a rash of broken pinkies, Tony Romo will miss four weeks with a broken pinkie that he suffered at the hands of my team the Arizona Cardinals and Jason Arnott who I have dubbed “Marshmallow” for his soft play for my Nashville Predators. I see where Brett Farve called Tony Romo to talk about his injury, you would have to think that if it was Brett Farve who had the broken pinkie he would tape it up and be playing, no little thing like a broken pinkie would keep Brett Farve from the football field.
